When an Auction ends
If you still have the leading bid when an Auction closes and the Reserve Price has been met, you will be notified by email to say you successfully won the Auction and what your winning bid was.
This email will contain the contact details for you to get in touch with the seller directly and arrange settlement.
If the Reserve Price has not been met and you had the leading bid on the Auction, the seller may contact you directly to negotiate a price. You may also contact the seller directly to negotiate a price. This can be done outside of Hoofpick or via the contact form on the Auction listing. Alternatively, the seller may choose to relist the Auction and you will have to place a bid on the new Auction if you are still interested.
You will also be able to see which Auctions you have won in your Hoofpick dashboard under My Hoofpick Activity - My Auction Activity.
What to do next
If you win an Auction, you must contact the seller directly to discuss the sale, transfer of funds and transportation (if applicable). This communication can be done outside of Hoofpick or via the contact form on the Auction listing.
Any transfer of funds will take place between you and the seller and will need to be arranged with them. Hoofpick does not handle any funds transfer and you will not receive any additional charges from us.
