Your App layout and design can be customised by you. Add or change Menu Labels and give your App a new feel...

Go to your Hoofpick dashboard on a web browser and navigate to Settings - Mobile App - Mobile App Settings.

Here you will find all your App Menu options.

The Slider Menu

First is the Slider Menu. When your app is built, this will be your app's homescreen when you open the app.

Slider Menu 1 Label is the first tab on your main app menu e.g. 'Welcome'. You can change the name of this by simply editing it to say 'Home' or whatever you prefer.

You can choose to add up to 4 Sliders on this menu.

  • Give each Slider a Label such as 'Welcome', 'News', etc.
  • Give each Slider a URL to the corresponding label / app page
  • Give each Slider an Icon (select from the dropdown)

When you have finished adding or changing the Sliders, scroll to the bottom of the Mobile App Settings and click Update.

Your app will be updated instantly to reflect these changes (you may need to close your app and reopen it).

The Category Menu

The Category Menu offers a full screen view of different categories with background images.

Category Menu 2 Label can become the second tab on your app's main menu e.g. 'Explore'. You can give this whatever label you prefer.

You can choose to add up to 6 categories on the Category Menu.

  • Give each Category a Label such as 'Events', 'Bookings', etc.
  • Give each Category a URL to the corresponding label / app page
  • Give each Category an Image (upload a JPEG or PNG file from your device)

When you have finished adding or changing the categories, scroll to the bottom of the Mobile App Settings and click Update.

Your app will be updated instantly to reflect these changes (you may need to close your app and reopen it).

Menu 3 - 9 Labels

The rest of the Menu Labels are all the other tabs on your app's main menu.

Depending on what content you want to include in your app and where you want to display it, you can choose to add up to 7 Menu Labels on the main menu.

For example, if you have additional content you would like to make available in your app (e.g. a Membership) you can add this to the menu too.

  • Give one of the available Menu Labels a title such as 'Membership'
  • Give this Menu Label a URL to the corresponding app page

When you have finished adding or changing the Menu Labels, scroll to the bottom of the Mobile App Settings and click Update.

Your app will be updated instantly to reflect these changes (you may need to close your app and reopen it).
